Overall evaluation process

The evaluation of a Bilan Carbone® includes several steps, each of which may involve one or more actors. To go into detail on this process, a diagram is offered in the Assessment evaluation guide.

Structure of an evaluation

The evaluation carried out by the authorized experts is structured into four steps:

  1. The collection of general information specific to the evaluation for monitoring and traceability purposes

  2. The evaluation of the prerequisites of the different methods

  3. The assessment of compliance with the methodological criteria

  4. The evaluation of the orders of magnitude, consistency of the assessment and relevance of its transition plan

This first step of the evaluation aims to gather information concerning the evaluation itself for monitoring and traceability purposes.

More information and details on what is evaluated are available in the Assessment evaluation guide.
