Glossary related to the Results presentation
All terms related to the results presentation steps are explained in the glossary. They are reminded below:
Results presentation: process of finalising the approach, including preparation of deliverables, their presentation and their validation. The results presentation is also a phase of Stakeholder engagement.
Documentation: process similar to the results presentation intended for internal use only. It aims to support the continuous improvement of carbon accounting within the organisation. Documentation is useful for future handovers and renewals.
Deliverables: the set of pieces, documents and information obtained at each step of the approach, compiled for the Results presentation.
Compatibility: here the ability of Bilan Carbone® to be used to meet other frameworks. The notion of “compatibility with” does not guarantee reciprocity.
Framework: here refers to other methods, standards and regulations for carbon accounting or low-carbon transition approaches.
Governance related to the Results presentation
The governance of the accounting step is part of the overall governance of the Bilan Carbone® approach presented previously.
The preparation of deliverables is the responsibility of the Bilan Carbone® coordinator, supported by the project team.
Validation of deliverables depends on the organisation's maturity level (either by the person in charge of coordination, or by senior management).
Stakeholder engagement related to the Results presentation
A Stakeholder engagement action takes place during step 6. It aims at empowerment, presentation and communication around the results and the finalisation of the approach . It is part of the scheduling of Stakeholder engagement phases presented previously.
