# 3.1.3 - Following construction of the GHG profile

Source: Freepik

The method defines the expected outcomes, that is, the messages and content to be conveyed within the framework of [Stakeholder Engagement](/3-mobilisation-des-parties-prenantes/3-introduction-a-la-mobilisation.md).

Conversely, the method is designed to be flexible and does not impose any specific means, tools or formats. [Resources](/english/annexes/annexes/annexe-9-ressources-pour-la-mobilisation.md) are provided in the annex to give some inspiring examples.

Here are the various recommendations that make it possible to comply with the [requirements](/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3-introduction-a-la-mobilisation.md#exigences-relatives-aux-etapes-de-mobilisation) in terms of Stakeholder Engagement:

## :calendar\_spiral: Upon completion of the GHG emission profile

The method recommends running this engagement phase from the emission profile obtained, therefore downstream of [step 4 - accounting](/4-comptabilisation/4-introduction-a-la-comptabilisation-des-emissions.md).

Initial Level: criteria H1, I1 and J1

Upon completion of the GHG emission accounting phase, :loudspeaker:[presentation and communication](/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3-introduction-a-la-mobilisation.md#restitution-et-communication) of intermediate results is expected. The messages and content to be conveyed are:

* Specific to the project team: reminder of the approach followed; technical presentation (validation of assumptions, activity data), presentation of the figures (overall GHG emissions – significant emission categories); involvement in subsequent phases (for example for the construction of the transition plan).
* Specific to management: reminder of the approach objectives; popularisation of the results (overall GHG emissions – significant emission categories); reminder of ongoing actions within the organisation and the organisation's strategy regarding the energy and climate transition (if it exists); involvement in subsequent phases (for example for the construction of the transition plan).

This exchange time serves as a reminder of the key :brain:[awareness and popularisation](/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3-introduction-a-la-mobilisation.md#sensibilisation-et-vulgarisation) points addressed at the launch of the approach.

:busts\_in\_silhouette: The targeted stakeholders are therefore, at a minimum:

* Project team and internal project coordinators
* Management

:ballot\_box\_with\_check: \[Examples and recommendations]

The method does not require the use of specific awareness tools or formats, as long as the above messages are conveyed. However, several [formats are proposed](/english/annexes/annexes/annexe-9-ressources-pour-la-mobilisation.md):

* Interim presentation event: may differ depending on the target audience (internal project team, or management). Volunteers may obviously be invited.
* Interactive online quiz formats are particularly suitable for popularising results and grasping orders of magnitude.

Standard Level: criteria H2, I2 and J2

* Specific to other internal employees: popularisation of the results (overall GHG emissions – significant emission categories), bringing the organisation's data closer to orders of magnitude, offering them the opportunity to calculate their individual carbon footprint, linking the organisation's issues to their daily life, presenting the EFs from their daily life.

This exchange time serves as a reminder of the key :brain: [awareness and popularisation](/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3-introduction-a-la-mobilisation.md#sensibilisation-et-vulgarisation) points addressed at the launch of the approach.

:busts\_in\_silhouette: The targeted stakeholders are therefore, at a minimum:

* Project team and internal project coordinators
* Management
* Internal employees: A representative panel of those who will be consulted during the reflection and [construction of the transition plan](/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3.1-programmer-les-phases-de-mobilisation/3.1.4-pour-la-construction-du-plan-de-transition.md).
* It is optional but relevant to extend to other internal employees (staff, volunteers) on a voluntary basis.

* Interim presentation event: may differ depending on the target audience (internal project team, employees, or management).
* It is often relevant to combine this interim presentation with a time for debate on actions to reduce the assessment, consultation and reflection on the construction of the transition plan (engagement phase detailed in [the following section](/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3.1-programmer-les-phases-de-mobilisation/3.1.4-pour-la-construction-du-plan-de-transition.md)).
* Maximise interactivity, especially for employees: interactive online quiz formats are particularly suitable for popularising results and grasping orders of magnitude.
* It is possible to present the results with an illustrative and educational [quantified flow map](/english/2-scope-of-the-approach/2.4-perimetre-operationnel.md#optionnel-cartographie-quantifiee-des-flux), complemented by the **emissions** values against the main flows. It serves as a visual basis for better understanding of the results and the link between physical flows and GHG emissions.
* Build familiarity through transposition to the individual carbon footprint: [some examples here](/english/annexes/annexes/annexe-9-ressources-pour-la-mobilisation/autres-formats-recommandes.md#nos-gestes-climat).

Advanced Level: criteria H3, I3 and J3

Upon completion of the GHG emission accounting phase, :loudspeaker:[presentation and communication](/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3-introduction-a-la-mobilisation.md#restitution-et-communication) of intermediate results is expected. The messages and content to be conveyed are:

* Specific to the project team: reminder of the approach followed; technical presentation (validation of assumptions, activity data), presentation of the figures (overall GHG emissions – significant emission categories); involvement in subsequent phases (for example for the construction of the transition plan).
* Specific to management: reminder of the approach objectives; popularisation of the results (overall GHG emissions – significant emission categories); reminder of ongoing actions within the organisation and the organisation's strategy regarding the energy and climate transition; involvement in subsequent phases (for example for the construction of the transition plan).
* Specific to other internal employees and external stakeholders: popularisation of the results (overall GHG emissions – significant emission categories), bringing the organisation's data closer to orders of magnitude, offering them the opportunity to calculate their individual carbon footprint, linking the organisation's issues to their daily life, presenting the EFs from their daily life.

This exchange time serves as a reminder of the key :brain: [awareness and popularisation](/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3-introduction-a-la-mobilisation.md#sensibilisation-et-vulgarisation) and :person\_raising\_hand: [empowerment](/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3-introduction-a-la-mobilisation.md#responsabilisation) points addressed at the launch of the approach.

:busts\_in\_silhouette: The targeted stakeholders are therefore, at a minimum:

* Project team and internal project coordinators
* Management, including the managers or representatives from the various departments of the organisation
* Internal employees: An extended and representative panel of those who will be consulted during the reflection and [construction of the transition plan](/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3.1-programmer-les-phases-de-mobilisation/3.1.4-pour-la-construction-du-plan-de-transition.md).
* External stakeholders: certain upstream or downstream external stakeholders (having a key impact on the value chain)
* It is optional but relevant to extend to other stakeholders on a voluntary basis

:bar\_chart: For this Advanced level, specific messages must be adapted to the context and profile of the organisation. The emission profile obtained here allows for refinement of the [identification of risks](/english/2-scope-of-the-approach/2.5-identification-des-risques-et-opportunites-de-transition.md#niveau-3-une-analyse-des-risques-complete-est-effectuee-et-fait-partie-integrante-des-processus-de-d) and opportunities of the organisation, particularly regarding its dependence on fossil fuels and its vulnerabilities. This initial [classification of "profiles"](/english/annexes/annexes/annexe-9-ressources-pour-la-mobilisation/classification-des-profils-dorganisations.md) allows for adaptation of the messages conveyed during the presentation, between a "lower-emitting", "very high-emitting", or "at-risk" profile:

* "Lower-emitting or decarbonising" profile or sector: For a **lower-emitting** activity, the objective is to influence (engage internal employees to reduce their professional and personal carbon footprint, engage the upstream and downstream value chain in dialogue and action sharing). The objective must not obscure the need to decarbonise (every degree and every tonne counts) or to question the relevance of the activity in a low-carbon world.
* "Very high-emitting" profile or sector: For a **very high-emitting** activity: the objective is the possible carbon gain, not the carbon result at a given point in time. The organisation is expected to deliver on its transition plan and the scale of its decarbonisation, more than on its current assessment. The objective is to focus its efforts on its significant issues and emission categories.
* "At-risk" profile or sector: For an "**at-risk**" activity, the need to change the business model or activities must be considered. Address actions and ways to do this using examples and feedback. The objective is to reach the overall vision and strategy of the organisation.

* Hold a dedicated day bringing together all stakeholders and allowing several sessions: appropriation workshops, focus on GHG results and profiles, and work on actions to initiate.
* Presentation of results with an illustrative and educational [quantified flow map](/english/2-scope-of-the-approach/2.4-perimetre-operationnel.md#optionnel-cartographie-quantifiee-des-flux) and/or an [analytical map](/english/2-scope-of-the-approach/2.4-perimetre-operationnel.md#optionnel-pour-un-niveau-avance-cartographie-analytique).
* Build familiarity through transposition to the individual carbon footprint: [some examples here](/english/annexes/annexes/annexe-9-ressources-pour-la-mobilisation/autres-formats-recommandes.md#nos-gestes-climat).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://www.bilancarbone-methode.com/english/3-stakeholder-engagement/3.1-programmer-les-phases-de-mobilisation/3.1.3-a-lissue-de-la-construction-du-profil-ges.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
